Our returns policy complies with Australian and Victorian consumer law.
Gifts Actually are not obligated to refund or accept returns if estimated delivery times are not met due to circumstances outside Gifts Actually control including but not limited to:
- War
- Flood
- Act of God
- Industrial work bans in any industry.
- Covid-19
- Third party delivery / shipping companies operational policies and procedures enforced at any time.
- Customs (Border Force) operational policies and procedures enforced at any time.
Returns:
Refunds are available for faulty/damaged goods or goods which when received do not match the description provided on our product pages. Gifts actually are not obligated to provide a refund for change of mind or gift recipients. For Change of Mind or gift recipients we can offer a store credit to the value of the purchase price. Our policy lasts 30 days in all circumstances. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
unless faulty or damaged, to be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original undamaged packaging.
Cost of returning items to Gifts Actually is at the cost of the purchaser unless faulty or damaged. In these circumstances Gifts Actually will email a shipping label to the customer with relevant instructions for the return of the goods.
Item must be returned in the same condition as it was originally received by the purchase
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable). These may include any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery, 10 days for personalised / customised items & products- see next section on Personalised and customised items / products.
Any orders cancelled (Non personalised only) due to change of mind, customer miscalculation of delivery times at time of purchase or other non specific reasons etc, the order may be refunded in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. If the item has not been dispatched at time of request any refund will be in full. If the Order has been dispatched at the time of request, the order will be refunded less any packing, handling and or delivery/freight costs associated with shipping of the order.
Personalised or customised items / products:
Personal and customised items once ordered, completed and shipped unless items or product is damaged or incorrect specification only. The final result of personalised items are dependent on many variables and final result may be different to the customer expectations.
In the event of customer dissatisfaction with result of final product, the Customer is to contact Gifts Actually in writing to info@giftsactually.com.au explaining the situation together with a photo or photo's of the item being discussed. Gifts Actually will contact the manufacturer with these details. If the Manufacturer agrees, and refunds the cost of the item, Gifts Actually will refund the customer on receipt of the discussed item.
In relation to our Paint by Numbers Range, should familiarise themselves with the Paint by numbers - understanding our product page. Failure to familiarise yourself with this page will not obligate Gifts Actually to provide the customer with a refund whether in part of full should the customer be dissatisfied with the colours or detail produced in the final product.
As the finished product is completed by the customer or another person any dissatisfaction cannot be solely placed on the product. Gifts Actually will take into account the ability or experience of the person completing the painting. A person wishing to request a refund for dissatisfaction of the final outcome MUST demonstrate that they have taken all care and responsibly while competing the painting before including but not limited to time taken, care, storage and cleaning of brushes (Whether supplied with the painting or by another retailer/person), storage and care of paint tubs, mounting and care of te painting canvas.
Customers MUST notify Gifts Actually within 7 (seven) days of receipt of personalised or customised items / products.
Damaged / Faulty Goods:
If any of our items arrives in a damaged condition a new item will be sent to the purchaser upon photographic proof of the damaged item. The purchaser may not need to return the item. Photos of damaged items are to be forwarded to info@giftsactually.com.au . In the event the item is requested to be returned, Gifts Actually will forward a shipping label to the customer with the relevant instructions.
Additional non-returnable items:
Gift cards
Gift Cards are non-returnable and not redeemable, transferable or exchangeable for cash.
Any unused amounts are not refundable or redeemable.transferable/sxchangale for cash.
Refunds (if applicable):
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment ONLY, within a certain amount of days.
Under NO circumstances will Gifts Actually provide a refund to another payment gateway or any other person other than the original purchaser.
If Gifts Actually together with our payment partners issue a refund in full or part or if Gifts Actually cancels an order and refunds in full the purchase price, all refunds are in Australian Dollars. Gifts Actually or our payment partners will NOT be responsible for third party financial institution fees or any currency fluctuations for such refunds.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable):
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable):
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded unless faulty or damaged. See relevant section for damaged goods.
Exchanges (if applicable):
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@giftsactually.com.au and send your item to: 57 Golf Links Road Berwick Victoria AU 3806.
Order Cancellations:
Gifts Actually reserve the right to cancel any order for whatever reason prior to dispatch and agree to refund the payment in full together with any shipping charges applied to the customer via the payment method used to purchase the good originally. For more details refer Refunds Section of this document.
Gifts Actually are not required to supply a reason for the cancelation of a purchase.
Shipping:
To return your product, you should mail your product to: PO Box 34 Webb Street post Office, Narre Warren, Victoria 3805.
Unless agreed with Management of Gifts Actually, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an items over $75, you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
All items delivered from our overseas warehouses and manufacturers will be delivered using traceable delivery methods irrespective if the order value.
